Identified new users and drove awareness and trial of a popular dry shampoo line, distributing product across bridal events, fitness studios, travel venues, schools, and mom-focused networks nationwide.

Aha! drove trial and brand awareness among beauty engaged consumers. The goal was to reach style conscious women at their most relevant moments and convert trial into lasting brand loyalty.
Despite strong brand recognition, not all audiences use dry shampoo regularly. The brand needed a targeted trial strategy that could simultaneously educate new category users and win over competitive switchers on a meaningful scale.

Aha! developed a multi venue sampling strategy that reached consumers across the moments that matter most: post workout at fitness studios and boutique cycling classes, during bridal shows and wedding planning events, on college campuses, through mom focused community networks, at travel venues, and inside beauty locations. Each venue received a curated assortment of samples along with branded advertising signage that sparked product education and conversation at the point of trial.
The program revealed a powerful dual opportunity of category conversion and brand switching. Consumers who had never picked up a dry shampoo were introduced to it in environments where the product's value was immediately obvious. Once the product delivered on its promise, purchase intent followed at a high rate. In venue education was the key to drive conversations that a shelf display never could. For personal care brands with strong product efficacy but low category awareness, placing the sample in the right moment is the fastest path from trial to loyalty.
